I am the author of fourteen books for children and a member of SCBWI, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I am happy to work with you designing presentations that meet your needs.

Fun, engaging presentation with songs and finger plays
Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade
Three 30 minute presentations
(one presentation for each grade up to 100 children per presentation)

The People Who Make a Book Happen
Children act out the parts of an author, critique partners, an editor, an agent, and an illustrator as I tell the story of how a book happens.

Where Do Ideas Come From?
Using a fun formula, we work together to generate one or two book ideas. Children can use this formula any time to make their book ideas happen.

2nd-5th grades
(One presentation per grade up to 100 children per presentation)
Three 50 minute presentations: $500
Four 50 minute presentations: $650
All presentations include an introduction about me and my books.
SKYPE VISIT: 50 minute Q&A $100
EQUIPMENT
I have my own equipment for use within driving distance. If you have a Smartboard or a smart TV, that would be wonderful.
TRAVEL EXPENSES
Outside of the Tulsa metropolitan area: $.55 per mile. Hotel accommodations may be necessary.
